Phoresis software is the operating system for all Sebia instruments. The multi-functional software provides a simple, user-friendly interface for result review, recall, and interpretation.

The software provides rapid and efficient data management, and is designed to work with gel and capillary electrophoresis techniques. 

Phoresis also provides the comprehensive interfacing and networking capabilities required to streamline processes within the laboratory.

Functionalities

Phoresis is designed to operate with all Sebia instruments.  It offers multi-client management, with central data storage, multi-site configuration, and multitasking validation process management.

Phoresis has powerful networking capabilities, including connection of multiple Sebia instruments, and decentralised validation within the laboratory or between distant locations.

Powerful, user-friendly interfacing

Phoresis shows 48 electrophoresis curves as a mosaic on the screen. Colour-coded profiles help quickly identify sample results; this is coupled with automatic flagging of abnormal values.

Curve recall and review allows extensive curve editing, including modifying presentation, X/Y zooming, comment entry, and overlay of reference patterns, controls, or previous patient results.
Other results from the patient may be reviewed from the same screen.

Storage

The PostgreSQL Client/Server technology enables multi-site management by different operators validating different steps of the reporting process.  All these steps may be performed simultaneously at the instrument site or remotely. PostgreSQL Client/Server provides unlimited data storage, and supports bi-directional connection to the LIS.
