West Medica introduces an innovative automated microscopy range to haematology.
The "Vision Hema" range of automated blood film systems expedites the process of blood smear analysis. With four automated microscope options in our portfolio, there is a system to suit each haematology laboratory's requirements, no matter the size. Network capabilities allow geographically isolated systems to share information, while remote connectivity allows users to access vital information from anywhere on the globe. The Vision Hema Assist is a one-slide capacity system, providing outstanding features for small and satellite laboratories.
The Vision Hema Pro comes with either a four or eight slide capacity, and provides a walk-away capability. This is ideal for medium-sized laboratories. The Vision Hema Ultimate is perfectly suited to high-throughput laboratories, with 200 slide capacity and an automatic slide load. |

Innovation is the key to a brighter future. Development of Vision solutions for digital microscopy is our top priority and primary focus. |
automatic scanning, identification, and pre-classification |
Validation of WBC, RBC,
|
Pathological and normal
|
The Vision Hema system automatically scans blood smears, collects standardised data for analysis, images and sorts blood cells, and saves results in the database.
|
Your haematology specialists are released from routine, monotonous microscopy work. Results are displayed in cell galleries and arranged in clear groups. Validation is rapid, simple and ergonomic.
|
The software automatically differentiates normal from pathological smears, and alters its pre-classification algorithm accordingly.
A wide range of pathological WBCs may be identified, including immature and atypical cells. |
Advanced morphological
|
Option of additional modules |
Remote access, network
|
Advanced morphological analysis provides laboratory staff to classify analysed objects using required criteria in order to generate a thorough report. Size, optical parameters, quantity, and cellular component analysis are some of the advanced measurement options available. |
Vision Hema RTC - Digital morphology of reticulocytes Vision Hema Bone Marrow - Count and study of bone marrow cells Vision Hema Body Fluids - Count and study of cells in human body fluids Vision Hema Malaria - Count and study of plasmodia in blood smears |
Vision Hema Remote offers remote access to blood smear analysis results, enabling off-site validation. Vision Hema Network allows multiple instruments to connect, either in the same laboratory or in different locations. Vision Hema LIS provides bi-directional communication with laboratory LIS. |
